by Tennessee Williams
"Isn’t that what love is? Using people?"
How far would you go to cover up an unpalatable truth? On the patio of her “well groomed” jungle, Mrs Venable has bribed a young doctor from the Lion’s View Sanitorium to find out, from the only witness, what really happened to her son in the city of Cabeza de Lobo.
This powerful, lyrical one act play is preceded by Something Unspoken, a thirty minute two hander, the title of which neatly sums up the main theme of pretty well all Tennessee Williams’ work including Suddenly Last Summer.
Contains adult themes.
