Here is the latest news on our foyer refurbishment, which is part of our ongoing development.

Mark Pearce is booked to start work on the 5th August. This will include removing the old box office counter and the corner walls to the fire exit downstairs. The ice cream cupboard doors will be removed, to open up this area. A new cupboard will be formed where the small, spare freezer now is to house the ice cream freezer.

The new box office will be a smaller, lockable, floor standing, square cupboard with a counter that folds up when not in use.

A new, round handrail on the stairs will be installed and a new colour scheme chosen.

These changes will open up the foyer area, making it more user friendly and inviting. The plan also includes a screen to display our playbill and future events electronically. Front of House volunteers will be pleased to learn that a new heater will be installed for those cold nights!
