Last night the Lace Market Theatre attended the annual NANDA (Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Drama Association) awards dinner. We're happy to announce that the two plays entered finished 1st (Damages) and 7th (Bedroom Farce) in the Play of the Year category. Jason Wrightam also came away with the Best Actor award for his portrayal of Lister in Damages.
We're delighted to have included ourselves in the NANDA awards for the first time (although the Lace Market Youth Theatre have had a number of successes over the years) and become a bigger part of the local theatre community.
