Following its successful run in the studio back in November the cast and crew decided that it was a perfect production to take to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Much planning and form filling has ensued and finally everything is in place. The cast of Nic Adams and Carol Parkinson suggested the trip and are now excited about the opportunity. The original technical crew are also coming along. The full support team includes Beverley and John Anthony, Phil Anthony (no relation), Jack Harris, Keith Parkinson and Peter Hodgkinson and all of us will benefit from this opportunity.
We shall be performing at Venue 40 The Quaker Meeting House at 7 Johnston Terrace on Monday 17th August to Saturday 22nd August at 6:15pm.
Prior to our appearance in Edinburgh some tour dates have been organised as follows:
27 June |
Mareham le Fen Village Hall |
17 July |
Old Library Theatre, Mansfield |
24-25 July |
Scothern Village Hall |
8 August |
Lace Market Theatre (online bookings here) |
15 August |
Old Well Theatre, Moffat, Dumfriesshire |
17-22 August |
Quaker Meeting House, Edinburgh (see here) |
The reason for these additional performances is to raise funds for the trip to Edinburgh but also to increase awareness of the Lace Market Theatre. We shall certainly be using these opportunities to distribute copies of the new playbill which should have been received from the printers by then. Please contact Beverley Anthony here if you need further information on how to get tickets for any of these events.
The Edinburgh Festival is a very noisy marketplace and so we are determined to take every opportunity of making our voice heard. So if you, or anyone that you know, happen to be in Edinburgh at any time between August 17th and August 22nd then we would greatly appreciate the support.
Tickets are available from the Fringe Box Office or directly from the Quaker Meeting House on 01312 206109 from August.
