The Lace Market Theatre is an amateur theatre staffed and run entirely by members in their free time. You are welcome to join the theatre and take part in its activities, either on stage, backstage, or further behind the scenes.

If you are interested in joining why not pop down on one of our open evening events. If you're visiting the theatre to see a show and are interested in getting involved do join us for a drink afterwards in the bar and we'll be happy to show you around. New members are always welcome and there are plenty of ways to get involved - experience is certainly not necessary! When you arrive at the theatre please go upstairs to the bar area as this is always the best place to find the Duty Officer!

From time to time we hold dedicated Open Evenings where we will meet you in the bar before showing you around the theatre. These events are detailed here.
