The Revenger's Tragedy (Playhouse) will be in full swing as we enter November and opening on the 1st is the Good Companion's Stage Society's 9 to 5 the Musical (Derby Theatre), the 2nd sees Freak (Nottingham New Theatre) and on the 3rd Riverside Drama Company's Love's Labour's Wonne (The Duchess Theatre) opens featuring our very own Liz Tuner.
The following week's offerings are The Commitments (Theatre Royal) from the 7th, Radcliffe on Trent Drama Group's Haywire (Grange Hall) from the 8th, and Arcade's Suddenly at Home (The Duchess Theatre) from the 9th with Closer (Nottingham New Theatre).
The third week of November includes our very own not to be missed Brontë from the 14th, ESNA's Spamalot (Loughborough Town Hall) from the 15th, and Blithe Spirit (Bonington Theatre), Gangsta Granny (Derby Theatre), and The Pride (Nottingham New Theatre) all from the 16th.
On the 22nd both Anne Boleyn (Robin Hood Theatre) and A Tale of Two Cities (Theatre Royal) featuring the Lace Market Theatre's Michelle Smith and Lucy Wakefield opens. And on the 23rd Mercury Fur (Nottingham New Theatre) raises its curtain with The Scarlet Pimpernell (Derby Theatre) on the 24th.
Taking us into December Ghost (Theatre Royal) opens on the 28th with W:t (Nottingham New Theatre) on the 30th. And here's our list of pantomimes available in the region this festive season… Opening in November are Aladdin (Playhouse) on the 25th, Cinderella (Loughborough Town Hall) on the 26th, and in December are Alice in Wonderland (Derby Theatre) on the 2nd, the People's Theatre Company's Dick Whittington (Nottingham Arts Theatre) on the 3rd, and Jack and the Beanstalk (Theatre Royal) on the 10th!
