Several pantomimes will be among a number of shows well underway as we go into December - Aladdin (Nottingham Playhouse), Cinderella (Loughborough Town Hall), Ghost (Theatre Royal) and W:t (Nottingham New Theatre). Then on the 2nd and 3rd respectively, Alice in Wonderland (Derby Theatre) and Dick Whittington (Nottingham Arts Theatre) both open. The later featuring our very own Gareth Morris as Captain Barnacle, set design by Cris Brawn and Deputy Stage Management by Michelle Smith.
The following week sees As You Like It (Nottingham New Theatre) opening on the 7th and Jack and the Beanstalk (Theatre Royal) on the 10th.
Our own Comfort and Joy opens on the 12th with Beasty Baby (Lakeside Arts Theatre) on the 13th, The Three Little Pigs (The Duchess Theatre) on the 14th and A Christmas Carol (British Legion in Radcliffe) on the 15th.
No more shows open locally in December, but don't miss Tissue at the Lace Market Theatre opening on the 3rd of January!
