Gypsy (Loughborough Town Hall) kicks off the new month with The Magic of Musicals (Duchess Theatre) on the 4th.
The second week in May gives us the rich choices of All Shook Up (Duchess Theatre) on the 8th; Made in Dagenham (Little Theatre), Blue Stockings (Lakeside Arts Centre), and The Wedding Singer (Theatre Royal) on the 9th; and Trainspotting (Nottingham New Theatre) on the 10th.
16th of May sees Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Loughbourough Town Hall), Ladies Down Under (Grange Hall), and Rent (Nottingham Playhouse) all raise their curtains.
Up against our very own The Perfect Murder on the 22nd is One Man Two Guvnors (The Little Theatre) and Shirley Valentine (Theatre Royal). Followed by East is East (Nottingham Playhouse) from the 25th.
The final week in May sees West Side Story (Theatre Royal) from Carlton Operatic Society opening on the 30th.
