I suggest we make individual visits to the West Bridgford Dramatic Society production of That Good Night by N. J Crisp, 4-8
November.
Billed as ‘a wry, thought provoking drama’, ‘profound’ and ‘compassionate’, it examines modern ideas about euthanasia, but also supplies an unexpected twist. And yes, the title evokes Dylan Thomas’ poem ‘Do not go gentle into that good night’ and
his assertion that life is precious….
Visit the show and bring your thoughts and comments to our discussion. Tickets bookable online. There is a Saturday matinee if you prefer a daytime visit but there are only 60 seats per performance. And it’s already booking. Check their website at: wbds.co.uk
The bar is open from 12. Please bring your sandwich lunch. Events/talks etc usually begin about 12.15 and finish around 1.30, bar the washing up! All members of LMT are welcome. Contact Cynthia Marsh here.
